Yahoo would had rejected billion dollar offer from Microsoft



The Board of Yahoo believes that the unsolicited proposal of U$S 44.6 billion made by Microsoft "massively underestimates the value" of the company and are ready to reject the offer, according to the Wall Street Journal report this Saturday, citing a source not identified.


The offer of U$S 31 per share held by Microsoft fails to account the risks that a merger between the largest manufacturer of software in the world and Yahoo is rejected by regulatory bodies, the newspaper reported, citing a person familiar with the situation " .

A spokesman for the Yahoo refused to comment on the procedures of directors of the company.
